UBS joins LCH CDSClear as clearing broker

The London Stock Exchange Group has welcomed UBS as a new clearing broker to LCH CDSClear.
The expansion of the network will provide UBS鈥檚 clients with access to a range of credit products eligible for clearing.
According to LCH, the firm will benefit from new opportunities to generate capital, margin, and operational efficiencies.

Jim Beasley-Suffolk, head of exchange traded derivatives, EMEA at UBS, adds: 鈥淲e鈥檙e excited to add LCH CDSClear to our comprehensive global OTC client clearing offering, which already includes LCH SwapClear and ForexClear.
鈥淭his extends our CDS offering to encompass a wider range of cleared credit products, helping our clients mitigate risk across their portfolios.鈥�
